Mad boiler is good!! The crab legs are a bit on the small side but they compensate by giving you A LOT of them. We were eating and kept finding more food in the bag like it was never ending. The mad boiler combined sauce is good but if you’re not a fan of garlic I would stay away from it because they use a lot of it.

Delicious fresh seafood. I normally get the pound of shrimp with the head off medium spicy with Mad Sauce and all the veggies (potatoes, broccoli, corn, and sausage). Medium spicy is plenty spicy believe me. The coco curry sauce is delicious too. One of my favorite little known restaurants!

Mad Boiler never disappoints! They have menu items that must seafood boil restaurants don't offer. They offer a Thai Chili sauce that hands down is the best in the city. They have combinations on the menu that are plentiful and cost effective for sharing. They offer a full bar and the customer service is excellent!

We were very pleased with our boil combo. Normally, when we ask for spicy food in a restaurant, the restaurant under-delivers. That was not the case here. The food was exactly what we were looking for. Good service, too. We were looking for "Mad Boiler" on the exterior, but the location's sign had a different name. Inside, however, we still found "Mad Boiler" posted in several places. We wonder if the restaurant has changed (or is changing) names.

A hole in the wall that you will absolutely fall in love with. Staff is friendly and the food is amazing. Will definitely make another visit next time I’m in Chicago!
